According to Footy Headlines, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City will launch their 2026/27 away shirts during the week of July 22, each featuring its own unique inspiration.
As previously reported by O Vestiário, Manchester United will pay tribute to its iconic 1988 blue away shirt. Adidas will keep the original blue base, complemented by subtle red and white accents on the sleeves and shoulders. This is the only kit that does not yet have a confirmed release date.
Manchester City, meanwhile, will honor the worker bee, a cultural symbol deeply rooted in the city’s history. Manufactured by Puma, the shirt will be predominantly black with yellow details—a color combination the club has successfully used in recent years. The expected release date is July 22.
Arsenal will unveil its new away kit on July 23, opting for style rather than a direct historical tribute. The 2026/27 away shirt is an “inverted” version of the iconic 1991-93 “Bruised Banana” kit, featuring navy blue as the primary color, with red and yellow details, as well as the nostalgic Trefoil logo.
The final club in the quartet is Liverpool, which, according to the same source, is set to launch its away shirt on July 28. Produced by Adidas, the jersey is predominantly white with burgundy-red logos, drawing inspiration from designs of the 1970s. The goalkeeper shirt will be purple, recalling the iconic kit worn by the club during the 1994/95 season.
