The biggest club on planet Earth is dressed for a new season. Real Madrid’s 2026/27 home kit was officially unveiled this Wednesday (3), drawing inspiration from the diamonds and pearls featured in the club’s crown to create an elegant and luxurious design.
The shirt to be worn by Mbappé, Vini Jr. and Bellingham next season retains the club’s iconic white base but introduces unique accent colors, including dark green for the logos, pink for the three stripes running down the sides of the shirt, and dark green on the collar and sleeve cuffs. This marks the first time this shade has been used on a Real Madrid home kit.

The last time Real Madrid used green on one of its shirts was in the 2012/13 season. On that occasion, the Merengue club released a fully green third kit, a jersey that remains fondly remembered by football fans.

Pink, meanwhile, has also appeared before, though more recently. The last time Los Blancos wore the color was in the 2020/21 season, also on an alternative kit. Pink had previously returned to the Spanish side’s shirts in the 2014/15 campaign as well.

Adidas pairs Real Madrid’s 2026/27 home shirt with white shorts and white socks. According to the public ratings collected by Football Kit Archive, a leading reference in football kit history, the reception has been negative. So far, Real Madrid’s new shirt has received just two out of five stars…
